Memories from Huntingdon Hill is a short film written, produced, and directed by Homestead Pictures founder Jon Milograno. The Civil War piece takes place in Georgia, where a young man journeys to find his father in the aftermath of the Battle of Atlanta.

Behind the Scenes

Even though the film is set in Georgia, production took place entirely in southern Virginia. Notable locations included Patrick Henry’s Red Hill and the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. Production lasted only 8 days and the film was released on May 5th, 2017.

The short was awarded numerous accolades, including TMFF Best Picture 2017 and Red Corner Festival Best Cinematography 2017.
